Job Overview

Denyon Homes is seeking a skilled Framing Carpenter to join our dynamic construction team in Weston, WI. As a key member of our crew, you will play a vital role in building the framework for new residential developments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Measure, cut, and assemble structural beams, walls, and roofs using various tools and equipment to ensure the solidity of construction projects.
  • Ensure precise measurement and accurate layout of building designs, showcasing problem-solving abilities and meticulous attention to detail to comply with safety standards and building codes.
  • Demonstrate physical endurance and the capability to work at heights while accurately interpreting blueprints and construction plans.
  • Assist in the setup and cleanup of construction sites, including the efficient assembly and disassembly of temporary structures.
  • Safely load and unload materials and equipment from trucks and delivery vehicles with careful handling.
  • Strictly adhere to safety protocols and regulations to establish a secure work environment for oneself and colleagues.
  • Perform general maintenance duties like organizing tools and equipment, managing materials, and disposing of waste properly.
  • Effectively communicate with supervisors, coworkers, and subcontractors to coordinate work activities and meet project deadlines.
  • Uphold consistent standards by diligently following company policies and procedures.
  • Show a willingness to acquire new skills and take on extra responsibilities as needed.
Requirements
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • The ability to lift items weighing over 50 lbs is essential for carrying out job duties effectively.
  • Reliable transportation and a clean driving record are necessary for this role.
  • Strong communication skills are vital for smooth interaction with team members and supervisors.
  • Previous experience in framing is beneficial for applicants interested in this position.
