Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Interventional Radiology Technologist to join our team at MedStar Montgomery Medical Center. As an Interventional Radiology Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our radiology department.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in the performance of interventional radiology procedures, including angioplasty, embolization, and stent placement.
  • Operate imaging equipment, such as the Philips azurion C-arm and portable C-arm, to capture high-quality images.
  • Prepare and maintain a sterile field for procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
  • Monitor patients during procedures and respond to any changes in their condition.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans.
  • Float within units of equivalent or lower level of acuity as required.
Requirements
  • MD license
  • RT-R ARRT
  • ACLS
  • BLS
