Sodexo is in search of a Food Operations Manager 3 to oversee operations at a prominent educational institution.

Relocation assistance is available, and the state offers no income tax.

This role entails managing daily food service operations, including Resident Dining, Retail, Catering, and Concessions, while supervising a team of five managers and over 100 frontline staff. As the second-in-command, this position provides significant opportunities for career advancement.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Oversee daily operational functions;
  • Deliver exceptional food service quality;
  • Meet financial objectives and targets;
  • Foster and maintain relationships with clients and customers;
  • Formulate strategic initiatives;
  • Create a positive workplace atmosphere;

  • Demonstrate a history of strong leadership and employee engagement, along with supervisory experience and collaborative skills;
  • Possess 3-5 years of management experience in a multi-unit, high-volume dining environment, with experience in Retail or Concessions being advantageous;
  • Can manage competing priorities, exhibit professional communication skills, and have a passion for outstanding customer service;
  • Are able to prioritize tasks and show flexibility in taking on additional responsibilities;
  • Have a solid understanding of Food Management Systems and are proficient in computer skills and report management;
  • Hold a valid driver's license.

Compensation: Sodexo provides equitable compensation, influenced by a candidate's educational background and relevant experience. The budgeted salary range is posted, but actual offers are based on individual qualifications.

Qualifications:

  • Basic Education Requirement: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience;
  • Basic Management Experience: 3 years;
  • Basic Functional Experience: 3 years in food or culinary services, including restaurants, fast food, catering, and institutional services.
