The estimated salary range for this position is between $102,315 and $166,000 at the time of posting. Final compensation will be influenced by various factors such as work location, education, experience, knowledge, and skills.

Responsibilities and Requirements:

Oversee the complete lifecycle of CI/CD pipelines for Cloud Software operating in GCP and Azure. Establish and uphold standards for Cloud Applications, including the setup of new pipelines, governance policies, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), monitoring, alerts, and backup/restore processes. Assist local developers with deployments and manage release processes. Provide support to all development teams regarding CI/CD challenges. Mentor and collaborate with team members on significant projects. Deliver cross-functional DevOps assistance for organizational objectives. Design GCP solutions that accommodate on-premises deployments. Conduct Proof of Concept for emerging technologies to enhance the CI/CD workflow. Provide technical leadership and manage key projects. Develop build pipelines utilizing Jenkins, Groovy, Bash, Python, and more. Create and implement IaC pipelines, as well as Application and System Test pipelines.

A Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field is required, along with 2 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer, CI/CD Engineer, or in a closely related role. Alternatively, a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field with 5 years of relevant experience is acceptable. Additionally, candidates must possess 2 years of experience with GCP/Azure Cloud design concepts (e.g., Regions, Availability Zones, NSG, VPN, VPC, Subnets, Private/Service endpoints, Firewall configurations); experience in setting up GitLab or Jenkins CI/CD pipelines with Terraform, Bash scripts/Python, Groovy; administration and maintenance of Kubernetes Clusters with backup and blue-green deployment strategies; Docker container creation, GCR, deployment using Terraform, and troubleshooting; maintenance of Windows or Linux Virtual Machines; development of scripting utility tools for task automation using Bash or Python; proficiency in Terraform, Ansible, Helm; experience in architecture involving Edge computing and low latency requirements between edge and cloud; implementation of security measures for cloud-based deployments; and cost optimization for various deployment architectures.

Pre-employment processing for this role necessitates drug testing and successful completion of background checks. Travel may be required up to 5% to various unanticipated locations domestically and internationally.
