Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our team at CHRISTUS Health. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in clinical nursing and a passion for delivering high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Patient Care: Provide routine and complex care to patients, demonstrating an awareness of all relevant aspects of a situation.
  • Leadership: Utilize critical thinking skills to assess patient needs, communicate findings to the healthcare team, and develop a specific plan of care.
  • Medication Administration: Administer medications and treatments, monitoring for side-effects and effectiveness.
  • Documentation: Document patient history, symptoms, medication, and care given.
  • Patient Education: Assess learning needs and provide education to patients, family members, and caregivers.

  • Patient Safety: Incorporate patient safety practices to promote a safe environment.

Requirements
  • Experience: 1 year of experience in the related nursing specialty preferred.
  • Education: Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing, preferred.
  • Licenses/Certifications/Registrations: RN License in state of employment or compact, BLS required.
