Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Barista to join our team at Morrison Healthcare. As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality coffee and food items to our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare espresso orders for customers and catering using standard measures and recipes.
- Enter orders accurately into the POS device and accept cash and charge payments.
- Replenish condiments, beverages, and general supplies while maintaining cleanliness of the service area.
- Ensure proper presentation, portion control, and maintenance of proper serving temperatures, following HACCP standards.
- Maintain sanitation and orderliness of all equipment, supplies, and utensils.
- Ensure proper food preparation by using approved recipes and following prescribed production standards.
- Greet customers courteously and interact in a manner to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Serve customers quickly and efficiently, and prevent delays in serving lines.
- Demonstrate a complete understanding of daily menu items and accurately explain them to customers.
- Serve as an advocate of selling techniques to the customer by establishing good communication and assisting in the buying decision-making process.
Requirements:
- Previous barista and cashier experience preferred.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a high level of productivity.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays.
