Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel - Echo Tech/Cardiac Sonographer
Shift: Days / 7:30a-6p, 9.5x4, 38 hrs per week Length: 13 weeks
Call required about once a week, and an occasional weekend requirement (maybe 1-2 weekends in a 13 week assignment)
Requirements:
  • 1 year experience
  • Minimum Level of Education Required: Associate degree
  • Registered Cardiac Sonographer credentialed by Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) or by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS).
  • BLS
  • Prefer EP (electrophysiology ) experience
Other Details:
  • EPIC, and MacLab
  • COVID-19 Vaccine (Facility Guideline): Not Required
  • Flu Vaccine (Facility Guideline): Required - Medical/Religious Exemptions Only
Shift: Days 7:30a- 6p, CALL:Call required about once a week, and an occasional weekend requirement (maybe 1-2 weekends in a 13 week assignment)
Prefer they have EP (electrophysiology ) experience, EPIC, and MacLab.
Tend to see approximately 20 patients a day between all labs.It's a fast paced, high acuity unit. We do structural heart procedures also (Watchman's, TAVR, Mitraclips).
General responsibilities: Independently performs diagnostic cardiac echocardiology procedures utilizing proper techniques and protocols. Works under their scope of practice and in accordance with registry in the operation of equipment. Coordinates patient flow and the activities of the Cardiopulmonary Department. Exercises professional judgment in the performance of duties in order to maintain equipment in good working condition. May perform other cardiology procedures in other modalities based on departmental needs. May have on call responsibilities.
Education
Minimum Level of Education Required: Associate degree
Additional requirements:- Type of degree: Allied Health- Area of study or major: Ultrasound/Sonographer
Licensure/Certification/Registration
- Registered Cardiac Sonographer credentialed by Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) or by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS).
-CPR Certification required
