Warehouse Operations Specialist

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Warehouse Operations Specialist to join our team at the Texas Department of Aging & Disability Services. As a Warehouse Operations Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient receipt, storage, and distribution of goods and supplies to our facilities across the state.
Key Responsibilities:
Receives and inspects shipments of commodities and equipment
Assists with receiving and processing warehouse stock and special orders
Enters data in MIMS and CAPPS Financials computer programs daily
Maintains accurate inventory records and reconciles variances
Delivers warehouse stock to assigned units and departments on a scheduled or special needs basis
Requirements:
Ability to perform general warehouse operations to include shipping, receiving, issuing, customer service, and inventory control
Ability to use mechanical lifting devices to aid in the moving, transferring, and delivering of goods
Ability to review warehouse rules, regulations, and policies for compliance
Ability to work effectively on a team and with customers
