As a Facilities Operations Supervisor, you will collaborate closely with the Community and Property Manager to develop a high-performing maintenance team, ensuring compliance with Equity standards and providing support as necessary. You will also assess the financial health of the property and oversee routine maintenance while delivering regular updates.
- Collaborating with the Community Manager to meet property goals
- Ensuring team compliance with Equity standards, addressing resident service requests efficiently and safely
- Supporting team members in various maintenance activities and preparing units for leasing
- Evaluating property management system data and offering insights for financial improvements
- Working with the Property Manager on capital projects and managing inventory
- Conducting routine maintenance and preparing progress reports
- Hands-on experience in maintenance fields such as plumbing, electrical work, appliance repair, and HVAC
- Experience in residential or commercial property management, hospitality, or retail
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license and good driving record required for travel between sites
- Proficient in computer use and able to communicate effectively in English
- Familiarity with federal and state housing regulations
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends
- Ability to respond to emergencies outside of regular business hours
- Service team members are required to use their own smartphones for job-related tasks
- EPA Section 608 Type I and Type II or Universal certification must be obtained within 90 days of hire if necessary
- Previous managerial experience
The starting salary for the successful candidate will be based on relevant skills, experience, and qualifications.
