About VCA Central Park Animal Hospital
Located in Plantation, FL, our hospital has been serving the community for over 40 years. We provide a full range of medical services to cats and dogs, from wellness exams to surgery.
We offer a competitive salary of $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience, along with opportunities for professional growth and development. Our ideal candidate is someone who is passionate about animal care and wants to make a difference in the lives of our patients and their owners.
The primary responsibilities of this role include assisting veterinarians during exams and procedures, preparing animals for treatment, and maintaining a clean and safe environment. If you have a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and a desire to learn, we encourage you to apply.
- Required Skills and Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred
- 1-2 years of experience in animal care or a related field
- Certification as a veterinary assistant (CVA) or registered veterinary technician (RVT)
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
