Job Overview

ResourceMFG is seeking a skilled 2nd Shift Flexo Press Operator to join our manufacturing team. This is a direct hire opportunity on the evening shift, providing a competitive benefits package and opportunities for career advancement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate the Flexo press to produce high-quality prints according to specified requirements.
  • Prepare the machinery for printing and die-cutting processes.
  • Manage ink application, load substrates, and install necessary tooling.
  • Mount printing plates, set print impressions, and adjust the press settings as needed.
  • Ensure that all materials, including substrate, ink, and tooling, meet the required specifications.
  • Web paper through the press while adjusting feed and tension controls for optimal performance.
  • Make necessary adjustments to control ink distribution, speed, and temperature within the drying chamber.
  • Identify and resolve any issues promptly to minimize waste of materials.
  • Perform routine maintenance, including oiling and cleaning the presses, and carry out minor repairs as needed.
  • Conduct preventive maintenance to ensure the longevity and efficiency of the equipment.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A minimum of 4 years of proven experience as a Flexo Press Operator.
  • Strong computer skills and the ability to adapt to new technologies.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
