Key Responsibilities

  • Retrieve carts from the parking lot and return them to the store
  • Offer to carry out and load purchases into customers' vehicles
  • Pick up and dispose of debris from the carts, floor, and parking lot
  • Distribute hand baskets around the store
  • Put misplaced or returned items in their proper locations
  • Assist in maintaining aisle conditions
  • Help to keep check lanes organized and stocked with essentials
  • Sweep and mop floors when maintenance is not available
  • Assist cashiers with change requests and obtaining additional items
  • Load purchases into carts and ensure proper bagging techniques
  • Stock advertisements

Requirements

  • At least 16 years of age
  • Physical stamina to lift up to 30 pounds and retrieve carts from outside
  • Ability to work outside in varying weather conditions
  • Flexibility to work a varied schedule that includes weekends and holidays
  • Prompt and regular attendance based on your schedule
  • Adherence to our dress code, appearance, and personal hygiene standards

Physical Requirements

  • Pushing and pulling up to 30 lbs. of force frequently
  • Lifting up to 40lbs.
  • Work actions include standing, walking, bending, reaching, and squatting
