We are seeking a highly skilled Grants Compliance Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Grants Compliance team, you will be responsible for identifying compliance requirements during the grant award process and ensuring the requirements are met through the life of the grant.

Key Responsibilities
  • Compliance Requirements Identification: Identify and interpret federal and state statutes and codes related to grants compliance.
  • Grant Management: Develop and implement tools and relationships to understand compliance requirements and turn them into executable and repeatable operational actions.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Provide guidance and expertise to internal and client stakeholders on grants issues, including Cost Principles/Procurement, Property and Ownership of Infrastructure, Audit and Monitoring, and other requirements.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with state and federal agencies, as well as internal teams and client teams, to ensure ongoing requirements are met timely, completely, and accurately.
  • Document Management: Prepare and retain compliance documents, including summaries, policy documents, and trackers.
Requirements
  • Experience: Prior experience with broadband state and federal legislation and regulations is essential.
  • Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to multi-task and be self-motivated to achieve results.
  • Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of principles and practices related to broadband deployment, including project management and budgeting.
  • Tools: Proficient in Excel, specifically VLook, Pivots, IF functions, and experience creating and reviewing budgets.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience: Five (5) years of experience in grants compliance or a related field.
  • Skills: Power BI proficiency and PowerPoint experience.
Work Environment

Normal office conditions, with some irregular hours may be required. Majority of time spent on the computer.
