Responsibilities

The Pediatric Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) is accountable for ensuring the quality of nursing care delivered to pediatric patients. This role involves the development and implementation of policies, procedures, clinical orientation, staff training, mentoring, and maintaining compliance with state and national care standards. The CNS will also oversee the collection, submission, evaluation, and dissemination of essential data. An educational plan will be crafted and executed in collaboration with the Nursing and Medical Directors.

Qualifications

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

1. A valid and current Registered Nurse license issued by the State.

2. Certification as a Clinical Nurse Specialist by the State Board of Nursing.

3. Current BLS and PALS certification upon hire and ongoing maintenance of certification.

St. Francis Medical Center offers a competitive compensation structure and a comprehensive benefits package that provides employees with the flexibility to tailor their benefits according to their individual needs. The estimated compensation for this role ranges from $77,584.00 to $123,510.40 annually, with the final offer determined based on various factors, including skills, experience, education, and licensure.
