Job Summary

This comprehensive role involves responsibility for medication purchasing, drug shortage management, drug recall coordination, and oversight of all pharmacy technician operations. You will work closely with the Director of Pharmacy to ensure seamless hospital and corporate initiatives, including purchasing and inventory control.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the Director of Pharmacy on hospital and corporate initiatives, including purchasing and inventory control.
  • Assist pharmacists in the preparation of medications and provide quality pharmaceutical care and services to all customers.
  • Supervise, train, and assign responsibilities to pharmacy technician staff, ensuring accountability and providing ongoing support and coaching.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by answering phone requests and triaging calls to the appropriate person.

Position Qualifications
  • Certifications: LIC-Pharmacy Technician - Tennessee
  • Work Experience: 1 year of relevant work experience
  • Education: Graduate of an approved discipline-specific program
