About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Oncology Business Development Lead to join our GBD Transactions team. As a key member of our organization, you will lead certain pipeline support activities and assist in identifying, coordinating assessment, and securing business opportunities across a range of categories designed to advance our existing pipeline.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute assigned transactions through proposal/review/negotiation of EOI/NBTS and Definitive Agreements.
  • Work in concert with key Functional Area Leads to secure alignment on key terms and conditions prior to and during active negotiations.
  • Communicate activities frequently across the organization through related internal approval committees.
  • Meet with other pharmaceutical company licensing groups and participate in industry meetings.
  • Together with colleagues from Search and Evaluation, coordinate with commercial, RD, finance, supply chain, IP, legal, etc., on both preliminary and full assessments of potential opportunities.
  • Schedule and lead diligence meetings with potential partners.


Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have at least 4 years of experience within the pharmaceutical industry, including previous Big Pharma experience and Branded oncology transactions experience. A Bachelor's Degree (BA/BS/MS/PharmD) plus MBA or JD is required, with a Master's Degree preferred. You should also have excellent communication skills and the ability to travel up to 30% overnight for conference schedules, global licensing meetings, and deal-related activities.


Salary Information:

The estimated salary for this position is $150,000 - $200,000 per year, based on industry standards and location. This figure may vary depending on factors such as experience, qualifications, and performance.
