Reliability Maintenance Technician Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Reliability Maintenance Technician to join our team at US Engine Valve. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our manufacturing equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot and repair machine malfunctions to minimize downtime and optimize production.
  • Perform preventive maintenance tasks to extend equipment lifespan and improve overall plant reliability.
  • Locate and repair electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical problems to ensure smooth operation of production lines.
  • Assist in the training of other maintenance personnel and production associates to promote knowledge sharing and skill development.
  • Ensure that job functions maintain or improve product quality by adhering to established standards and procedures.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; advanced education or equivalent work experience preferred.
  • Prior work experience in a manufacturing setting is highly desirable.
  • Experience working with electrical systems from 24V DC to 480V AC is essential.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints is required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced education (associate degree) in a related field or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience in working with hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical, electronics, welding, and mechanical systems.
  • On-the-job or classroom training in areas such as hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical, electronics, welding, and mechanical.

Working Conditions:

  • Must be able to work in a manufacturing setting, standing, bending, stooping, lifting, pulling, and pushing are required.

  • On-the-job or classroom training, including hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical, electronics, welding, and mechanical.
  • Hilift/Forklift operation experience and ability to obtain license.
  • Quality Management System and Environmental Systems Training.
