Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Distribution Maintenance Technician to join our team at US Engine Valve. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot and repair machine malfunctions, performing preventive maintenance to minimize downtime.
  • Locate and repair electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical problems, ensuring equipment is functioning optimally.
  • Complete projects as directed, including machine moves, modifications, installations, and material handling.
  • Assist in the training of other maintenance personnel and production associates, promoting a culture of knowledge sharing and collaboration.
  • Ensure job functions maintain or improve product quality, adhering to our quality management system.
  • Perform preventative maintenance functions on equipment, ensuring it remains in good working order.
  • Complete work orders satisfactorily and in a timely manner, meeting our high standards for quality and efficiency.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED from an accredited school.
  • Advanced education (associate degree) in a related field or equivalent work experience preferred.
  • Prior work experience in a manufacturing setting is highly preferred.
  • Experience in working with electrical systems from 24V DC to 480V AC.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints.
Preferred Qualifications
  • On-the-job or classroom training, including hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical, electronics, welding, and mechanical.
  • Hilift/Forklift operation experience and ability to obtain license.
  • Quality Management System and Environmental Systems Training.
