About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Senior Breast Imaging Radiologist to join our team at Planet Healthcare in Portland, OR. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated professional to work with a dynamic team and contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform breast imaging examinations using mammography and ultrasound modalities.
  • Dictate reports into Powerscribe, utilizing EPIC Mammography reporting system.
  • Collaborate with support staff, including ultrasound techs, mammography techs, and breast navigators, to ensure seamless patient care.
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in a hospital-based Breast Center, with a schedule from 8 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday. The facility features 1 mammography room and 2 ultrasound rooms at Silverton, as well as 1 mammography room and 1 ultrasound room at another location.

Salary and Benefits

The estimated annual salary for this position is around $250,000, based on industry standards and location. Additionally, the package includes competitive benefits, commensurate with experience.

Requirements and Qualifications

To be considered for this role, applicants must possess:

  • A medical degree (MD) or equivalent qualification.
  • Board certification in radiology, preferably with subspecialty training in breast imaging.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
