We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Imaging Specialist to join our team in Portland, Oregon. This 13-week assignment will provide the opportunity to work with state-of-the-art imaging technology and collaborate with a talented healthcare team.

Job Summary

The Medical Imaging Specialist will be responsible for operating CT scanners, preparing patients for procedures, and ensuring high-quality images are captured. This role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities.

About the Role
  • Operate CT scanners to capture high-quality images of patients
  • Prepare patients for procedures by explaining protocols, positioning them correctly, and ensuring their comfort
  • Maintain accurate records of patient information, including medical history, allergies, and test results
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 1 year of paid experience in the last 3 years as a CT Technologist in a hospital setting
  • Strong technical skills, including proficiency in operating CT scanners and related equipment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, colleagues, and radiologists
  • Ability to maintain accurate records and follow strict protocols
