Caregiver Specialist

**Job Description:**

• Provide personal hygiene assistance for elderly clients or those recovering from surgeries, injuries, or accidents.
• Remind clients to take prescribed medication.
• Help with mobility.
• Plan and prepare meals.
• Assist clients with errands, including outings, grocery shopping, etc.
• Perform light housekeeping duties.
• Report any changes in condition/Advocate for clients.
• Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency.
• Encourage activities/exercises that are essential for daily living.
• Provide safety supervision.

**Required Skills and Qualifications:

• 18 or older.
• Must be willing and able to submit to and pass a drug screen, motor vehicle record check, and criminal background check.
• Prior verifiable experience with all ADL's, including changing, dressing, bathing, transferring (at least 1 year, family care included) *preferred*.
• Ability to perform all essential job functions with or without accommodations.
• Valid driver's license, car insurance, and reliable transportation to and from work every single day.
• Ability to act in a compassionate and supportive manner.
