At Right at Home Lafayette, LA, we are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver Specialist to join our team. As a Caregiver Specialist, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of our seniors by providing personalized care and support.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming, as well as administering medication and providing mobility assistance. Estimated Salary: $12-$15 per hour
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care and hygiene assistance to elderly clients
- Remind clients to take prescribed medication
- Assist with mobility and transfers
- Plan and prepare meals
- Accompany clients on outings and errands
- Perform light housekeeping duties
- Report any changes in client condition or advocate for their needs
- Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency
Requirements:
- 18 years or older
- Valid driver's license, car insurance, and reliable transportation
- Prior experience with ADLs (Activities of Daily Living) preferred
- Ability to perform essential job functions with or without accommodations
- Compassionate and supportive attitude
