Technical Expertise:
  • 15+ years of extensive experience in Mechanical Engineering design within the building services and construction sector.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Thorough understanding of building codes and mechanical design principles.
  • Proven success in delivering projects across various sectors and regions.
  • Strong technical knowledge of HVAC systems and familiarity with other MEP building systems, with the ability to address technical challenges effectively.
  • Expertise in high-performance building design utilizing electrified solutions for both adaptive reuse and new construction projects, with an understanding of the impact on carbon footprint and commercial viability.
  • Professional Engineer (P.E.) certification or equivalent is preferred.
  • LEED AP accreditation is a plus, demonstrating a commitment to sustainable design practices.
  • Proficient in industry-standard software such as Revit for detailed design and computational analysis tools like CFD and energy modeling software.
Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated leadership experience within an MEP Engineering Consultancy or a related field.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of presenting technical information to diverse audiences, including non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, teams, and deadlines while ensuring client satisfaction.
  • Self-motivated with a proactive mindset, able to work independently and collaborate effectively within a team.
  • Experience in mentoring and coaching junior engineers to foster their growth and development.
  • Proven success in business development and maintaining long-term client relationships is advantageous.
