- 15+ years of extensive experience in Mechanical Engineering design within the building services and construction sector.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Thorough understanding of building codes and mechanical design principles.
- Proven success in delivering projects across various sectors and regions.
- Strong technical knowledge of HVAC systems and familiarity with other MEP building systems, with the ability to address technical challenges effectively.
- Expertise in high-performance building design utilizing electrified solutions for both adaptive reuse and new construction projects, with an understanding of the impact on carbon footprint and commercial viability.
- Professional Engineer (P.E.) certification or equivalent is preferred.
- LEED AP accreditation is a plus, demonstrating a commitment to sustainable design practices.
- Proficient in industry-standard software such as Revit for detailed design and computational analysis tools like CFD and energy modeling software.
- Demonstrated leadership experience within an MEP Engineering Consultancy or a related field.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of presenting technical information to diverse audiences, including non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, teams, and deadlines while ensuring client satisfaction.
- Self-motivated with a proactive mindset, able to work independently and collaborate effectively within a team.
- Experience in mentoring and coaching junior engineers to foster their growth and development.
- Proven success in business development and maintaining long-term client relationships is advantageous.
