Baylor Scott & White Medical Center - Sunnyvale is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in a night shift position. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Direct Patient Care: Independently perform the functions of direct patient care, utilizing the nursing process to deliver developmentally appropriate care.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work in collaboration with other healthcare professionals to provide a comprehensive plan of care, ensuring effective communication and coordination of patient care.
- Problem-Solving and Critical Thinking: Utilize critical thinking and clinical judgment to solve complex problems and make informed decisions about patient care.
- Education and Training: Provide education and training to patients, families, and healthcare team members, promoting a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- Quality and Safety: Ensure that patient care meets the highest standards of safety, effectiveness, and patient rights, adhering to regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
- Education: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
- Licensure: Current State of Texas Registered Nurse license.
- Certifications: Current AHA BLS Certification, Current AHA ACLS Certification, Current AHA PALS or ENPC, CPI Certification within 6 months of hire.
- Skills: Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing, Basic computer knowledge, Proficient in interpreting EKG.
