  • Teach Strategies and Methods: Design and deliver instructional activities that promote socialization, self-help skills, and academic growth, tailored to the specific needs of each student.
  • Supervise and Direct Teaching Assistants: Oversee and guide the activities of teaching assistants and aides in the classroom, ensuring a collaborative and supportive learning environment.

Requirements:

  • Education and Certification: Possess a Bachelor's degree and hold certifications as a Teacher of Students with Disabilities or Teacher of Handicapped, as well as Elementary School Teacher K-5 certification from the New Jersey Department of Education.
