About the CNC Operator Role

Generant Inc. is seeking a skilled CNC Operator to join our team in Butler, NJ. As a CNC Operator, you will be responsible for operating and loading bars into CNC machines in a productive, high-quality, and safe manner.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate and load bars into CNC machines
  • Inspect parts using visual comparators, calipers, and other measuring instruments
  • Perform secondary operations such as material lot code stamping and part number identification
  • Record data of part inspections, bars used, and production quantities
  • Maintain clean machines and a safe working environment
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Basic math skills and ability to use measuring instruments
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift up to 75 pounds
Work Environment:

The CNC Operator will work in a machine shop environment where floors may be slippery due to oil spills and metal chips. The noise level is usually moderate for a manufacturing plant.
