Key Responsibilities

  • Table Reset and Cleaning
    • Reset tables in a speedy, professional, and effective manner to Hawkers Asian Street Fare restaurant standards as guests leave the restaurant.
    • Clean the entire restaurant and its perimeters to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Support to Servers and Service Staff
    • Support servers and service staff with refills and clearing tables to ensure seamless service.
  • Guest Interaction
    • Promptly greet guests as they are seated and assist in bringing beverages to the table, as requested by the server.
    • Respond to guest requests and communicate guest requests to the server immediately.
  • Restroom Maintenance
    • Inspect assigned restroom every 15 minutes and clean as needed.
  • Team Support
    • Show flexibility in terms of schedule to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the restaurant as directed by restaurant management.
    • Support Host with restroom cleaning and restocking responsibilities.
    • Support team by doing ongoing side work throughout the shift.
  • Physical Demands
    • Frequently stand, walk, bend, squat, and reach above shoulder level.
    • Lift/carry up to 20 lbs.

Requirements

  • Obtain service area assignments at the beginning of each shift.
  • Must have or be willing to obtain Food Handlers Certification and understand and follow OSHA and HACCP compliance standards.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
