Key Responsibilities:

The Community Manager will be accountable for the comprehensive management of a residential community or a collection of communities.

Your role will encompass supervising all facets of office operations, from leasing and resident engagement to collaborating with maintenance teams, while also ensuring financial performance objectives are achieved.

Utilizing your leadership capabilities, you will strive to cultivate an enhanced living environment and a premier workplace.

  • Build and maintain positive relationships with residents, addressing their concerns and resolving issues in a timely manner.
  • Uphold lease agreements and community regulations consistently and equitably.
  • Plan and coordinate resident events and initiatives to foster a sense of community.
  • Develop and manage the property’s budget, including income, expenditures, and capital enhancements.

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in multi-family or related property management required, with equivalent experience in retail and/or hospitality management.
  • 2+ years of experience in people management.
  • Proven experience in managing community operations, including financial performance, customer service, communication, marketing, negotiation, crisis management, and staffing.
  • Ability to utilize data and reports to devise solutions that maintain high standards of customer service, optimize revenue generation, and manage expenses effectively.
  • Demonstrated success in resolving resident issues through previous work experience.
  • Experience in mentoring and developing team members, providing constructive feedback that enhances performance.
  • Capacity to exercise professional judgment with composure and manage contracts with third-party service providers.
