Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee screening checkpoint(s) and/or baggage screening operations, ensuring compliance with established procedures and protocols.
  • Conduct and supervise subordinate employees in conducting security screening of persons, their carry-on and checked baggage/cargo.
  • Foster critical thinking abilities necessary to mitigate security threats through identification, assessment, and application of appropriate strategies and methods.
  • Operate various screening equipment and communicate effectively with travelers and stakeholders.
  • Prepare incident reports and implement updated security screening procedures.
Requirements
  • Minimum 1 year of experience as a Lead Transportation Security Officer (LTSO).
  • U.S. Citizenship or Nationality.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance.
  • High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED).
  • Pass a computerized assessment and medical evaluation.
  • Ability to work any day, Monday - Sunday, and any shift between 12:00 AM and 11:59 PM.
  • Effective decision-making skills and ability to work independently.
