About the Position:

We are seeking a qualified Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team at Davis School District. The successful candidate will be responsible for evaluating, determining eligibility, and providing appropriate supplementary aids and services to assigned students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate student speech and language development to determine eligibility for special education services.
  • Develop and implement individualized educational programs (IEPs) that meet the unique needs of each student.
  • Communicate effectively with parents, teachers, and other professionals to ensure consistency and continuity in student services.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and communicate regularly with parents and staff.
  • Collaborate with other professionals to provide comprehensive support services to students.

Requirements:

  • Masters Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or equivalent from an accredited institution.
  • Valid Utah educator license with a Speech-Language Pathologist area of concentration.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.

Salary Information:

The salary range for this position is estimated to be between $65,000 and $90,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
