Job Title: Executive Director/Administrator

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Executive Director to lead our beautiful retirement community in Oregon, part of our Independent Living Solista portfolio.

Job Summary

The Executive Director is responsible for ensuring the financial stability and operational excellence of the community, while promoting a positive relationship and rapport with staff, residents, and family members. This role requires strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, as well as a deep understanding of senior living operations and regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage community operations, including budgeting, cash flow, and staffing.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws, rules, and regulations.
  • Develop and implement sales and operations strategies to drive business growth and resident satisfaction.
  • Lead the development and implementation of the Resident Care Program, working closely with the clinical department head.
  • Manage the community's budget and cash flow, maintaining budget accountability and minimizing negative budget variances.
  • Provide leadership and support to staff, promoting a positive and productive work environment.
  • Maintain a high degree of resident satisfaction through consistent delivery of high-quality services.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in business, healthcare, nursing, or human services, or a combination of education and experience in a supervisory role in senior living or healthcare.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a progressive leadership role in senior living or healthcare.
  • Licensed Administrator (if required by state regulations) in good standing, or meet all applicable federal and state license requirements.
  • Compliance and understanding of all federal, state, and local regulations regarding residents' rights.
  • Successful history of building teams and meeting financial goals.
  • Knowledge of various computer systems, CRM software, and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • A high degree of accuracy, integrity, and ability to manage time effectively.
  • Outstanding communication skills and ability to motivate.
  • Capacity to work evenings and/or weekends, and be on-call 24/7.
  • Compassion for our residents and a strong passion for excellence.
