At Guardian Flight, our mission is to provide high-quality medical care to patients in a professional and compassionate manner.
We are seeking a skilled Flight Paramedic to join our team, responsible for delivering advanced medical care to patients in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
The ideal candidate will have excellent clinical skills, strong communication abilities, and the ability to work effectively in a team.
Key Responsibilities- Evaluate and treat patients within the scope of practice and standing orders established by the sponsoring physician.
- Consult with Medical Director as needed.
- Order and restock medical supplies.
- Perform medical health screenings.
- Restock First Aid Bags and Kits.
The Flight Paramedic will utilize medical equipment and procedures, including defibrillator, EKG monitor, oxygen and suction devices, intravenous fluids, CPR and other procedures and medications as required to provide advanced medical care.
The successful candidate will also be responsible for maintaining the general condition of the work area, keeping it clean and stocked to maintain the image of Guardian Flight and GMR.
Requirements- Must stay current with advanced training, instructor credentials, and continuing education.
- Must maintain all mine safety policies and complete all safety training.
- Driving record in compliance with GMR policy regarding insurability.
- Available to work extended shifts at remote mine sites.
