Salary and Benefits

About the Job

The Physical Therapist role involves evaluating and treating disabilities, injuries, and diseases using manual therapy, modalities, and exercises. You will provide education and consulting services, complying with regulatory, professional, ethical, quality improvement, and facility standards. Your responsibilities will include charting patient progress notes, supervising department personnel, and participating in multidisciplinary teams to serve various populations.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Evaluate and treat patients referred by providers
  2. Supervise Physical Therapist Assistants and support personnel
  3. Document patient care in a timely manner
  4. Participate in educational in-services for staff and providers
  5. Collaborate with healthcare teams and provide professional recommendations
  6. Participate in patient-related care coordination activities
  7. Positively promote the department and profession within the hospital/clinic and community
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must possess:

  • A degree from a baccalaureate, Masters, or Doctorate program in physical therapy approved by an accredited organization
  • Licensure to practice as a physical therapist within the State of ND
  • Two years of relevant experience as a physical therapist
  • CPR certification
  • A current ND Driver's license

We prefer candidates with community/home health experience.
