Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team at Norton West Louisville Hospital. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for producing high-quality diagnostic images that meet or exceed department, organizational, and industry standards.

Responsibilities
  • Utilize imaging, computer, and other equipment to produce and retain high-quality diagnostic images.
  • Demonstrate thorough knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, and image quality.
  • Prepare patients for procedures, educate, and respond to questions or concerns.
  • Ensure age-appropriate approach to communication, safety needs, patient education, and principles of physical/functional growth and development.
  • Oversee and train students providing patient care, treatment, and services as part of their training.

Qualifications
  • One of the following: RO (State Radiography License) AND ARRT-R, or ROT (Temp State Radiography License) AND must obtain ARRT-R prior to ROT expiration.
  • Desired: One year in general radiography.
