Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Mammography Technologist to join our team at Heartland Imaging. As a Mammography Technologist, you will be responsible for performing breast imaging procedures and related techniques, producing data for interpretation by licensed independent practitioners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform breast imaging procedures and related techniques, producing data at the request of and for interpretation by a licensed independent practitioner.
  • Ensure services are performed in a safe environment in accordance with established guidelines and regulatory requirements.
  • Serve as part of the imaging center team and seek feedback for improved clinical practice.
Requirements
  • Up to 1 year experience as a Mammography Technologist.
Education and Certification
  • Must have a minimum Associate's Degree in Radiology and be a graduate of an accredited two-year radiology program.
Skills and Abilities
  • Skill in operation of Mammography equipment as well as applicable ancillary equipment.
  • Ability to work independently and multitask.
  • Ability to provide documentation accurately and concisely.
  • Demonstrates understanding of human cross-sectional anatomy, physiology, pathology, radiopharmacology, and medical terminology.
  • Knowledge of computer applications, including information and billing systems, keyboard input, digital archiving, and retrieving of data.
