Teaching and Mentorship Professional

We are seeking a skilled Teaching and Mentorship Professional to join our team at Odle Management. The successful candidate will work as an instructor in a regular classroom setting, presenting instructions in designated subject areas.
The ideal candidate will have a commitment to preparing young people for the workforce by modeling, mentoring, and monitoring excellence in key areas such as workplace relations and ethics, information management, communications, multicultural awareness, personal growth and development, career and personal planning, interpersonal skills, and independent living.
Key Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate and adhere to Odle Values and operating principles
- Promote a positive atmosphere within the classroom setting to ensure maximum student motivation
- Maintain discipline within the classroom setting to ensure maximum learning
- Establish strong student/instructor rapport
- Utilize all available curriculum resources
- Prepare classrooms adequately
- Maintain student personnel folders
- Record and forward daily attendance to the Student Records area
- Assist with necessary Job Corps forms
- Responsible for building and equipment security and maintenance
- Accountable for classroom cleanliness
- Prepare reports on student/staff hours, requisitions, and monthly student evaluations
- Assist Manager during scheduled inventory
- Attend required staff training sessions
- Adhere to Odle's Quality Assurance Plan
- Cultivate a safe and respectful center environment
- Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements- Certified to teach in the state where the center is located (waiver possible if certified teachers are unavailable)
- Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record preferred
Additional Requirements:
- Knowledge of required subject area
- Excellent organizational skills
- Ability to obtain and maintain CPR/First Aid Certification
- Ability to motivate and inspire students and effectively relate to trainees
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
- Able to operate household appliances and drive an automobile
