About the Role

Koniag Data Solutions, LLC is seeking a highly skilled Cyber Intelligence Analyst to join our team. As a Cyber Intelligence Analyst, you will play a critical role in supporting our government customer in Fairfax, VA, by providing expert-level analysis and recommendations to identify and mitigate cyber threats.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cyber Threat Identification and Analysis: Proactively monitor internal and external landscapes for relevant events, risks, and threats related to malicious code, vulnerabilities, and attacks.
  • Threat Intelligence Monitoring: Perform monitoring and analysis of threat intelligence monitoring tool services, product contracts, and relationships.
  • Emerging Technologies Evaluation: Assist in the evaluation, development, testing, and implementation of emerging data access control technologies and information systems security issues, safeguards, and techniques.
  • Recommendations and Mitigation: Recommend mitigation tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs) for identified malicious logic within the customer's environment.
  • Staying Current with Industry Developments: Maintain current knowledge of tools and best-practices in advanced persistent threats.
  • Intelligence Reporting: Regularly develop and produce succinct written intelligence reports constructed from technical analysis and collected threat information for client internal consumers.
  • Cyber Security Perspective: Contribute cyber security perspective to discussions and decisions regarding MITRE ATT&CK for Cloud.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Partner with peer cyber operations teams to understand events and support technical analysis of malicious cyber security incidents.
  • Threat Tracking and Incident Response: Track potential threats associated with attempted intrusions and network and host-based attacks, and coordinate incident response efforts with cyber security teams.
Requirements
  • Foundational Cloud Certification
  • Network and/or Systems Certification
  • DoD Information Assurance Technical 3 (IAT Level 3) Certified
  • Active TS/SCI Clearance
Working Environment

This role operates in a professional office environment with a noise level of mostly low to moderate. The incumbent is required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls, reach with hands and arms, talk, and hear. The workload may require the incumbent to sit for extended periods of time. The incumbent must be able to read, do simple math calculations, and withstand moderate amounts of stress. The incumbent must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
