Role SummaryAs an Automotive Technician Level B, you will be an essential part of our service team, responsible for upholding the highest standards in vehicle maintenance and repair. Your expertise will ensure that our customers receive top-notch service and their vehicles are in optimal condition.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough mechanical inspections of vehicles to assess safety and drivability, documenting all findings.
- Perform comprehensive repairs and part replacements, focusing on light to medium mechanical issues.
- Maintain a clean and professional dealership environment, enhancing the customer experience.
- Test drive vehicles post-repair to confirm that all issues have been resolved.
- Be prepared to work outdoors and adapt to varying weather conditions as required.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in automotive repair.
- Proficiency in systems including cooling, braking, charging, steering/suspension, air conditioning, and electrical components.
- Possession of a clean driver's license.
- Completion of automotive secondary education is advantageous.
- Demonstrated technical skills in automotive repair.
- Must provide personal tools for use in the workshop.
- Experience with shop equipment such as lifts, welders, scanners, and brake lathes.
- Ability to operate both automatic and manual transmission vehicles.
- Strong vision and hearing capabilities.
- Physical ability to lift, push, pull, or carry items weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Reliable attendance and focus during work hours.
- Commitment to treating each vehicle with care and respect.
- Quick learning ability and teamwork skills.
- Effective communication skills for interaction with customers, managers, and colleagues.
- Ability to follow both oral and written instructions accurately.
- Frequent physical movement is required, including bending, lifting, reaching, and entering/exiting vehicles.
- Capability to perform quality inspections of your work and that of team members.
