Responsibilities- Operate the switchboard, answering phones and directing customers to the appropriate department in a professional and efficient manner
- Communicate with callers in a friendly and courteous tone, minimizing hold times and resolving customer complaints diplomatically
- Handle cash, checks, and credit card payments from customers, making correct change and issuing receipts as needed
- Assist managers with various clerical duties, such as data entry and record-keeping
- 1+ year of experience in a customer-facing role or similar environment
- Ability to effectively communicate customer interests, needs, and requests to management and sales personnel
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office, with ability to learn new software quickly
- Available to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and some holidays
