We are seeking a highly skilled Ultrasound Technologist PRN to join our Diagnostic Imaging team at Oviedo Medical Center. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing a variety of technical procedures using high-frequency sound waves to detect pathology.
Key Responsibilities:- Operate ultrasound equipment to produce diagnostic exams, following ACR protocols and radiologists' guidelines.
- Responsible for workflow, including PACS, to obtain a permanent record of the examination.
- Assist in the daily operating of the Imaging Services Department.
- Use sterile techniques for procedures requiring it and assist radiologists with procedures when necessary.
- Perform routine procedures with stationary and portable equipment in all areas of the facility, including the operating room.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment start date.
- Current registration through ARDMS as a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer.
- Graduate from an accredited program in Ultrasound.
