About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced NX Instructor to join our team at Waltonen Engineering. As a key member of our instructional staff, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality training sessions to our clients, focusing on the latest features and tools of Siemens NX software.

Key Responsibilities
  • Course Instruction: Provide expert instruction and demonstration in both in-person and online class settings for NX learners.
  • Class Preparation: Work with our IT team to set up and maintain a professional and seamless presentation of virtual classes.
  • Compliance and Orientation: Attend a mandatory orientation session and complete online compliance training.
  • Teaching and Feedback: Teach live in-person and/or online for all scheduled class sessions and respond to participant questions and/or feedback.
  • Professional Development: Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in NX software and propose new classes annually to our Program Manager.
Requirements
  • Proficiency in NX Software: Demonstrated expertise in Siemens NX software, including CAD, CAM, and CAE.
  • Certifications: Hold NX Design and NX CAM Manufacturing Professional-level certifications.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities to assist students in overcoming software-related challenges.
  • Instructional Experience: Proven skills and/or experience in instruction, with a focus on technical concepts.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills to effectively convey technical information to diverse learners.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Work Experience: 2+ years of relevant work experience in the field of engineering or a related field.
  • Education: Associate's Degree or higher in Engineering or a related field.
