Assistant Professor of Economics/Labor Economics

Denison University is seeking a highly qualified candidate to fill a tenure-track position in the field of Labor Economics. The successful applicant will be expected to demonstrate a strong commitment to teaching and research, with a focus on labor economics in a liberal arts college environment.
The Department of Economics at Denison University is committed to providing an inclusive and welcoming community for students, faculty, and staff. The successful applicant will be responsible for teaching a range of courses, including introductory and advanced econometrics, introductory courses in economics, and upper-level elective courses in labor economics. They will also be expected to maintain an active research agenda, with a focus on labor economics, and to contribute to the department's service activities.
Denison University is a highly selective, residential liberal arts college enrolling approximately 2,300 students from across the nation and around the world. The college is located in the village of Granville, 30 minutes from Columbus, Ohio, which offers a wide range of cultural and artistic opportunities.

The successful applicant will be expected to have a Ph.D. in economics or a related field by the start date of appointment, and to demonstrate a strong potential for teaching and research excellence.
