Job Summary

River City Paving is seeking a skilled Tack Truck Driver to join our team. As a key member of our paving crew, you will be responsible for operating a commercial motor vehicle in a safe and efficient manner, performing pre/post-trip inspections, and complying with all DOT regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive a Tack Truck to spray tack and prepare the surface for paving
  • Work behind the paver with a shovel or asphalt rake as needed
  • Perform other duties as assigned by lead or foreman
Requirements
  • 21 years of age
  • Clean driving record
  • Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License with tanker endorsement
  • Pass a DOT physical
  • Ability to operate equipment safely and efficiently
  • Ability to keep time and material records
  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
  • Physically fit to perform job functions
