Position Overview:
We are in search of a highly skilled Senior Electrical Engineering Specialist with a minimum of 15 years of industry experience. This role entails overseeing and taking ownership of engineering projects, from the initial requirements gathering to the comprehensive system design.

While you will guide the design team, this position focuses on technological advancement and ensuring timely completion of tasks within budget constraints, rather than traditional leadership or managerial duties.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, analyze, document, and support product testing.
  • Mentor and provide guidance to junior engineers.
  • Review and interpret customer specifications.
  • Contribute to budget and scheduling estimates.
  • Support design requirements for manufacturing processes.
  • Engage in significant proposal development and collaborate with various teams to synchronize technical activities.

This position requires full-time onsite engagement, adhering to a 9/80 work schedule based on project demands.

Essential Skills:
  • 15 years of relevant experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering.
  • Expertise in analog and power electronics.
  • Knowledge of POL supplies, isolated forward or flyback converters, and Class D amplifiers.
  • Familiarity with MIL standards, including STD 461 and MIL STD 1275.
  • Proficient in EMI testing and simulations using LTspice.
  • Experience with digital CCA design, FPGAs, microcontrollers, and high-speed transceivers.
  • Proficient in Cadence/Allegro, Matlab, Mathcad, and FPGA tool suites (Xilinx, Altera, Intel, PSG, Microchip, Microsemi).
  • Ability to guide PCB layout and review designs.

  • Ability to independently complete technical projects.
  • Strong mentoring and coaching capabilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Employment Type: This is a Contract to Hire position with a duration of 12 months.
