Position Overview:

Key Responsibilities:
As an LPN in corrections, you will be responsible for:
  • Providing nursing care to inmates in accordance with established protocols.
  • Administering medications and treatments as prescribed.
  • Monitoring patient health and reporting any changes to the healthcare team.
  • Maintaining accurate patient records and documentation.

Qualifications:
To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following criteria:
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
  • Valid LPN license in the state of Illinois.
  • AHA BLS certification is required.

Work Schedule:
This position involves:
  • Working 40 hours per week.
  • Shifts include 2x12s (7pm-7am) and 2x8s (3pm-11pm).
  • Participation in weekend and holiday rotations.
