- Efficiently process customer orders on a daily basis to meet their expectations.
- Engage in various operational processes, including receiving, picking, packing, and shipping.
- Accurately package and label shipments in accordance with standard operating procedures, ensuring compliance with documentation requirements for hazardous materials.
- Assist in maintaining proper inventory storage within controlled environments.
- Collaborate with your team to foster a positive workplace experience at Thermo Fisher Scientific.
Qualifications:
Education:
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
Experience:
- Prior experience in a warehouse setting is preferred.
- Experience with hazardous materials handling (chemicals) is advantageous.
- Familiarity with computers and scanning equipment is preferred.
- Experience operating powered industrial trucks (order pickers) is a plus.
Skills and Abilities:
- Ability to stand and move throughout the warehouse for extended periods, involving walking, bending, and reaching.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
- Willingness to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being capable of independent problem-solving.
- Proficiency in reading and writing in English.
- Capability to lift, carry, and push items weighing up to 50 lbs.
