We are seeking an Environmental Consultant to enhance our team in either Manchester, NH or Woburn, MA. This position entails responsibilities in field data acquisition, sample collection, and various office-related tasks to support environmental initiatives in New Hampshire and Massachusetts. You will also have the chance for cross-training and alternative assignments depending on project demands.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Gather soil, groundwater, and surface water samples
  • Organize and prioritize tasks, ensuring accurate documentation
  • Supervise soil borings and monitoring well installations
  • Perform data analysis and interpretation
  • Draft technical reports and environmental evaluations
  • Assist regional operations and travel as needed
  • Engage in emergency response activities

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Geosciences, Engineering, or a related discipline
  • 3-6 years of relevant professional experience
  • Possession of a valid driver's license
  • Willingness to work occasional nights and weekends
  • HAZWOPER certification

Technical Proficiencies:

  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Technical writing and verbal communication expertise
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD and EPA assessments is preferred

Additional Requirements:

  • Reliable personal vehicle
  • Capability to work in diverse environments and weather conditions
  • Understanding of environmental regulations in New Hampshire and Massachusetts
