The Automotive Service Technician plays a crucial role in delivering high-quality service, including general mechanical repairs, while ensuring customer satisfaction remains our top priority.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Service Advisor to assess the requested services and greet customers promptly.
- Conduct thorough 21-point vehicle maintenance inspections and advise on necessary services or repairs.
- Execute repairs as detailed in the work order with precision and efficiency, adhering to dealership and manufacturer standards.
- Communicate with the Service Consultant regarding any additional work needed or if the outlined work is unnecessary.
- Perform essential services such as engine, power steering, coolant, transmission, and brake flushes.
- Carry out oil changes and lubrication tasks while checking all filters.
- Diagnose vehicle issues to determine required repairs.
- Inspect all fluid levels, including power steering, transmission, engine oil, and coolant.
- Rotate tires and ensure proper tire pressure adjustments as per manufacturer recommendations.
- Safely deliver the customer’s vehicle upon completion of services.
- Maintain and operate all lubrication equipment effectively.
- Ensure all tools and equipment, especially lifts, are in optimal working condition.
- Document all service actions meticulously, completing necessary forms and reports.
- Enhance job knowledge through ongoing training and educational opportunities.
Requirements:
- Valid Driver's License
- Proven experience as an Automotive Technician
