Automotive Transmission Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Automotive Transmission Technician to join our team at Kendall Automotive Group. As a key member of our service team, you will be responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing complex transmission systems in a fast-paced shop environment.
Responsibilities:- Inspect and diagnose transmission issues using advanced diagnostic tools and techniques
- Perform repairs and replacements of transmission components, including gears, bearings, and seals
- Use independent judgment to make decisions and prioritize tasks in a dynamic work environment
- Document all work and hours per manufacturer and Kendall policies
- Road test vehicles to ensure quality of work and issues resolution
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a transmission technician in a dealership or large independent shop
- ASE certifications are a plus but not required
- Ability to operate a wide variety of vehicles, both automatic and manual transmissions
- Valid driver's license and good driving record
