Responsibilities

  • Identify potential threats to ServiceNow's production and corporate environment
  • Analyze relationships between seemingly unrelated events to determine root causes
  • Develop and implement effective mitigation strategies to prevent security incidents
  • Work with teams to maintain up-to-date baselines for secure configuration and operations of devices
  • Participate in On-Call rotation as an escalation contact for priority incidents
  • Assist with deployment, integration, and initial configuration of new security solutions or enhancements

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field
  • Automation knowledge (Python, bash scripting) and experience hardening Linux, Windows, or Mac systems
  • Background working with data logging applications (e.g. Splunk)
  • Knowledge of vulnerability scanning tools (Qualys, Nessus)
  • Defensive security mindset
  • Ability to explain complex issues to executives and customers
  • GSEC, GCIH, CEH, GCIA, or CISSP certifications a plus

The estimated salary for this position is $36,780 per year, plus equity (when applicable), variable/incentive compensation, and benefits.
